Let's be honest: I'm self-critical! Being a perfectionist is a part of me that I hate and love at the same time. I hate it because sometimes it holds me back from the things I would love to do. Those things that I don't do because I'm afraid to fail, you know? (like writing everything in English even though I hate to make mistakes, but anyway, I do it!)
But on the other hand, being self-critical means to move forward like everyday. If you're almost never satisfied with the things you do, you always try your best to do it better! And so do I.
So, but what has that got to do with Instagram?
On Instagram there are more than 500 million active users - which is by the way such an unbelievable enormous number! 500 million people who are posting pictures maybe everyday or week. It's like a whole universe full of photos and me, I'm just a little star in it - just like all the others!
Just like all the other inspiring, creative, unique, interesting and ordinary members. This huge community gave me the confidence to do what I love to do: to take photos and share them with you!
And there's another thing that I love about this platform! I'm German and I've lived in France twice. Once for studying in Montpellier and once for working in wonderful Paris. Thanks to Instagram I've discovered so many places that only locals know :) It's such an easy way to get to know some nice restaurants or the best spots for good coffee!
Back in Germany I'm still in touch with France everyday! I get my daily dose of Paris in the shape of pictures and I can still read and write this beautiful language on a regular base! :)))
