it's getting colorful again

Hey, have you've ever been to China? Not I! But I have been to Sintra - which is kind of the same...  :D okay, only kind of... but when Colin and I have entered the Castelo dos Mouros I've felt immediately like I've changed the continent! Because this little city near Lisbon is so various that you get the impression to visit several countries at once!

the one thing we all have in common

Coming back to Germany from my Internship in Paris was, once again, like starting a whole new life in my old hometown. And actually, sometimes it can be even more difficult to reset your life in your familiar surrounding than in a new one. Because it isn't really a reset - it's more like a puzzle: there's still the same picture on it, but the pieces have changed their shape.

Cordonnerie steht in großen Lettern auf der himmelblauen Fassade direkt über dem Eingang geschrieben und jedem französischsprachigen Kaffeejunkie wird schnell klar: der Name des Boot Cafés kommt nicht von irgendwo. Denn wo noch vor einiger Zeit Schuhe repariert wurden, gibt es heute ausgezeichneten Kaffee.

It's march and march means a lot of grey days, a lot of rain and a lot of clouds - at least if you're living in Germany or somewhere around. The good thing about it: spring is lying ahead of us! Which means longer days, colorful blossoms and sun rays on your skin! 

le plaisir de la pêche

I can't get enough of this song and this lovely Village! Le plaisir de la pêche means the pleasure of fishing and it's that one special sound to me... because as soon as I'm listening to it, it brings me back to this amazing spot! So it's no wonder that I was listening to it on repeat while I was editing these photos I've taken in the charming Vallon des Auffes! :D

Even though Carnival is a big thing in Germany, I'm not really into it. I actually wonder why, because when it comes to disguises, collecting sweets (which is a traditional thing over here) and confetti I'm the first one who's dressed like a cat with my pockets full of lollipops. :D

Let's be honest: I'm self-critical! Being a perfectionist is a part of me that I hate and love at the same time. I hate it because sometimes it holds me back from the things I would love to do. Those things that I don't do because I'm afraid to fail, you know? (like writing everything in English even though I hate to make mistakes, but anyway, I do it!)
